The Killarney Classic started over 10 years ago to raise funds for our local cancer groups and also as a way to remember a local farmer and grazier, Mark Lampe who rode from Killarney Gap to Sawn Rocks with a group of friends for an Easter get together with their families. Less than three months later, Mark lost his short battle with cancer. Mark grew up in Narrabri and loved the district. He would be so proud of the effort and support from so many people that will help make other families lives a little bit easier when they have to face the battle with cancer.
